Skoda Octavia vRS & Skoda Fabia vRS

Skoda have been producing the Octavia vRS and Fabia vRS for a few years now and have created a couple of gems. Having an alliance with VAG they have the best choice of all the VW and Audi components.

The Mark 1 Skoda Octavia vRS (01 - 05) they choose the MK4 Golf chassis and running gear plus the engine from the Audi TT producing 180 bhp. What a combination, smooth power delivery, 0-62 in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 146mph, comfortable to drive and faultless reliability and practical.

The Mark 2 Skoda Octavia vRS (05 - present) has been developed using the MK5 Golf chassis and running gear plus the engine from the Golf GTI producing 200 bhp. With a top speed of 149mph and 0-62 in 7.3 seconds is actually slightly better than the MK5 Golf GTI. Add the largest boot in its class and you have a very pratical hot hatch.

The FAB new Skoda Fabia vRS 2010 will be available to buy from
29 July 2010 from £15,700, with a 0-62mph time of 7.3 and a top speed of 143mph. Using the same 1.4 TSI engine with a staggering 178bhp on tap as found in Seat's Ibiza Cupra and VW's Polo GTI, we at vRS World, expect demand to be high and will be test driving as soon as possible.
